If looking for a Valentine’s gift for a movie-loving sweetheart, Denzel Washington’s latest movie Flight is available on a Blu-Ray/DVD combo disc. Washington, undoubtedly one of the greatest actors of a generation, is once again nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Flight.

Washington plays a morally challenged airline pilot. His life is in shambles personally but professionally he has been rather lucky. But we all know eventually luck runs out. In a blink of an eye, Whip Whitaker (Washington) goes from being hailed for his skill in landing an airplane and saving hundreds of lives to being questioned about if he legally he should have been flying in the first place.

Denzel received the nomination but Don Cheadle, his high-powered attorney, delivers another funny and sexy performance. Also, John Goodman was unfortunately overlooked for a truly funny “fix it” kinda guy who is steals every scene he is in.

The features on the Blu-ray include an incredible Anatomy of a Plane Crash featurette, which gives you a peek behind the scenes on how they created the crash for the movie. Also, Origins of Flight and The Making of Flight, plus Q&A highlights.
