Irving Black Arts Council African American History Program and Reception at Irving Arts Center- Dupree Theater

Irving Black Arts Council 2013 African American History Program and Reception is at Irving Arts Center- Dupree Theater, located at 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Irving, on Feb. 24, 2013 at 3 p.m.

The theme is Celebrating Freedom & Equality. The MacArthur High School JROTC, Ben Washington BC Mime Troupe, The Unveiling of the USPS 2013 Black Heritage, Forever Stamp with Postmaster Rodney Malone and A Black History Presentation written and directed by Cynthia Reid Wills:Grandma, I Don’t Believe It! will all be featured at this program.In this presentation, Denise McNary is casted as “Grandma”, Canedric D. Young as “the Grandson”, and Eddie I. Saldana as “the Friend”.
