World Vision’s Mobile Multimedia Experience Brings the Story of a Tanzanian Village to Dallas

Springcreek Church and Nolan River Road Baptist Church in Dallas are hosting the World Vision Experience, a new, innovative and high-tech mobile experience that transports visitors to the country of Tanzania through multimedia. There, visitors will experience life through the eyes of local children and families – all inside an expandable semi-truck. As the truck tours the country, local communities will receive an experiential look at global need and be provided with a simple, proven way to respond through World Vision. Through multiple tablet-based technologies and state-of-the-art cinematography, the sights and sounds of Africa come alive as visitors journey toward hope and discover how they can make a lasting difference for one child.

Experiential tours and equipment provider, MRA partnered with World Vision to bring the story of one African village to life inside a 90’ x 40’ semi-truck exhibit. The Ride to Kisongo includes eight modules where visitors can experience a different aspect of life and history in Tanzania. They’ll be escorted by Babayetu, a World Vision-Sponsored Child who guides them through the village discussing the problems of the past, the significant progress his town has enjoyed in recent years, the continuing challenges they face, and the exciting opportunities he and his family see for the future thanks to ongoing support.
