Bear Creek Community Church and eight of its members will be taking a trip in August to help Gathaithi Orphanage & Vulnerable Children Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The church has been supporting the orphanage for several years, and the mission is to help workers with repairs, leading conferences and preaching the gospel. The Beer Community Church is taking donations to help raise funds to cover the cost of labor and traveling expenses.
Things that can be donated are as followed:
School supplies: backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, note books, rulers, crayons, markers, board games, craft kits, model cars, science kits, clothing: play clothes for the kids, sandals/slippers for boys and girls, underwear, socks, training bras, t-shirts, belts, etc., first aid kits for the facility, etc. Many of the glass window panes are broken and need to be replaced
 Bear Creek Community Church is asking for donations toward their goal of raising $15,000. Any contribution will be appreciatedÂ
