Molding mentors and mothers to be this May

DALLAS – As we honor mothers this May, let us not forget to celebrate our future generation …our daughters! As singer John Mayer once said, daughters turn into mothers one day.

With an eye on the future generation of women, Jocelyn Stevens, founder of Ruby Etiquette, LLC, launches her program this month. Ruby Etiquette specializes in teaching girls five through age fifteen, fundamental etiquette practices and communication skills. These include lessons in personal hygiene, handling bullies and the art of using “please” and “thank you.”

Stevens describes Ruby Etiquette as your mobile manners program in the North Dallas area.

Ruby Etiquette sessions incorporate fun activities, insightful discussions, and hands on practice tailor made to equip the enrollees, “Little Gems,” with tools needed to become women of purpose and poise. Upon completion of a session package, graduates will be able to shine their brightest in everyday social scenarios.

Our daughters will grow up to be mothers, business women, teachers, doctors, inventors, and so much more. Although sending girls to finishing school may be considered a thing of the past, training girls to become women of excellence never should.

It has been said, “You want your daughter to stand out, not because she’s different, but because she is outstanding!”

Open enrollment begins in May and you can find out more about the program at RubyEtiquette.com.

You can also contact Jocelyn Stevens at (972) 762-6802 or RubyEtiquette@yahoo.com.

  1. Because the world has gotten to be such a casual place, many families often assume that their children have the etiquette skills that they were raised with, by osmosis or something, but it is certainly a case of “if you don’t use it you’ll lose it.” If they haven’t been around it, they probably don’t know it. Because of the fast-food culture many kids and adults alike have no idea how to use a knife and fork, or how to set a table and many other social skills, like chewing with your mouth closed. Thank you for all programs like this one. Social media etiquette is also sorely needed.
