Donna Brazile is the headliner for Black Austin Democrats fundraiser Feb. 22

brazilleIf you closely watched the debates and analysis of the twists and turns of the legendary 2008 Democratic primary battle between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. and former First Lady Hillary Clinton – then Donna Brazille is likely a household name for you. Her trailblazing career actually goes bak to when she ran President Bill Clinton’s campaign in the late 90s and many other accomplishments. However, 2008 is when she became more well-known outside of Washington.

Tickets are going quickly for the Black Austin Democrats Spring Fundraiser brunch. The awards brunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Westin at the Domain, 11301 Domain Drive.

The honorary chair for this exciting event is Texas Rep. Dawnna Dukes, and the Host Committee is 100 Black Women of Austin.  The guest speaker for this event is veteran Democratic political strategist and news commentator Brazile.
