Frisco Library offering movies, TV shows and audiobooks via digital service

audiobookFRISCO — Frisco Public Library announces the availability of thousands of movies, television shows, music albums and audiobooks, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital. The service is available to Frisco residents and may be accessed with a library membership.

Members may download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or iOS device or visit friscolibrary.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles—from major Hollywood movie studios, record companies and publishers—available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets and computers.

Members are able to borrow up to eight hoopla selections per month. Most movies and television shows are available on member’s devices for three days after check out. Music is available for seven days, and audiobooks are available for 21 days.

There is no waiting to borrow popular movies, television shows, albums or audiobooks. Titles are always available and items return automatically.  Hoopla digital is available to Frisco residents with a library membership only.

Users are encouraged to share their experiences on Facebook and the library’s other social media outlets.

  1. Unfortunately Frisco library is discontinuing Hoopla, how is our tax money being spent?
    Hoopla provide books,movies, music free with the use of a library card.
    While more cities join Hoopla Frisco library board decide to stop the service.
    Luckily voting is tomorrow.
