February 2 : Let’s Dance and celebrate Donald Driver’s birthday today

Former Green Bay Packer wide receiver, New York Times bestselling author and season 14 Dancing with the Stars champion, Donald Jerome Driver  was born February 2, 1975 in Houston, Texas.

Donald had a tough childhood being homeless and living out of a U-Haul truck as a teen. Driver and his older brother, stole cars and sold drugs in an effort to survive. He eventually moved in with his grandmother when he was 14 and his life made a change for the best. He has never really looked back.

Driver is also the author of four children’s books, Quickie Handles a Loss, Quickie Makes the Team, Quickie Goes to the Big Game and now Quickie Stands Up to a Bully. The books are based on Driver’s bedtime storytelling to his children. Also, in 2013 Driver’s memoir, Driven quickly rose to the New York Times Best Sellers List within two weeks of release. 

Driver is married to Betina Driver and together they are raising three children.
