No that is not that Grumpy Cat fella! It is Samson who recently found a furrever home through Operation Kindness’ new Kindness Klubhouse near Valley View Mall in Dallas.

Operation Kindness is launching a new satellite adoption center, the Kindness Klubhouse. The adoption center features great viewing and play opportunities with healthy cats and dogs ready for adoption.

Located across the street from Valley View Mall near Half Price Bookstore at 13394 Preston Road in Dallas. Perhaps cats and dogs people do not get along any better than the animals because they are only open on Friday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. If you are looking for your own little adorable (or grumpy they don’t judge)
Kittens or cats visit on Fridays. If you have always wanted to have your own Lassie or adorable bi-breed (is that the term in the 21st century for mutts, which surely by now is considered an offensive term by true dog lovers) then you can search to your heart’s content for puppies and dogs on Saturdays and Sundays.

Adoption fees are $145 for cats/kittens and $185 for dogs/puppies. Potential adopters who select an animal online are encouraged to call the shelter at 972- 418-7297, to ensure the animal is still available for adoption.

With the adoption of every animal, adopters receive:

  • Adoption counseling to help the adopter select the cat or dog best suited to his/her needs, family and home environment
  • Kindness Klubhouse starter kit with food samples and helpful information
  • Pet care and educational materials
  • Temporary carrier for cats
  • Samson, an adorable ragdoll was recently adopted from Kamp Kindness.
  • Temporary leash for dogs
  • Operation Kindness tag with animal ID
  • Microchip ID and registration
  • Rabies tag for animals over four months of age
  • Spay or neuter surgery (if not previously done due to young age or medical reason)
  • A coupon for 25% off the entire purchase at Pets Supplies Plus

In order to adopt an animal from Operation Kindness, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Have a valid, government-issued photo ID showing your current address
  • Be able to verify that you can have a pet where you live
