(DALLAS) – Just in time for summer, Fair Park officials today announced a special summer parking rate of $5. The new promotion is effective through August 18.
“We are pleased to announce this special summer promotion. We are using this test period to determine how effective this promotion will be in increasing attendance at Fair Park events and Summer Adventures,” said Willis Winters, Director, Dallas Park and Recreation Department.
Fair Park officials said they hope the reduced rates will bring more visitors to Fair Park. “July is national Park and Recreation Month and we want everyone to come out and enjoy our many diverse events and museums,” said Daniel Huerta, Fair Park executive general manager.
Fair Park Fourth brings music, food and fireworks to the park on Thursday beginning at 4:30 p.m. Later this month, the Taste of Dallas will offer visitors a culinary experience. The park’s newest year-round attraction is Summer Adventures that features the 500- foot Top of Texas Tower, games, and shows.
“We want everybody to come out and get a taste of Fair Park and all that it has to offer. Fair Park has something for everyone,” Huerta said.
