New parking plazas at DFW Airport

imagesDFW  International Airport will soon introduce its new parking control plazas on August 26. Your new plaza experience will come with self-service lanes, discounts for TollTag users and an all-around faster experience at the Airport.

“We are taking an important step to improve the customer experience by adding more lanes and reducing wait times to enter and exit the Airport,” said Jeff Fegan, CEO of DFW Airport. “The new Parking Control System will allow many more lanes to operate because they are automated, and that will mean a better experience for a great majority of our customers.”

This new process will automate your trip to and from DFW Airport, especially for NTTA TollTag customers. For the fastest transaction, all you have to do is log on to your NTTA account online and opt in for DFW; you won’t have to pull a ticket when you enter the airport.

TollTag saves you time and money on your DFW Airport plaza transaction.

DFW is right there with you. Guests who choose to use a North Texas Toll Authority (NTTA) TollTag will enjoy a faster experience and will save $2 per day on terminal parking and $1 when passing through the Airport.

Drivers can secure a TollTag from a variety of retail establishments in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For a complete list, visit the NTTA website. Or, you can still use a credit/debit card or cash for your transaction. DFW makes it easy. Just pull a ticket from the self-service, automated system as you enter.

Upon exiting, credit/debit card customers can take the ticket to any lane. Lanes marked credit card or TollTag will provide the fastest transaction. Cash customers will simply use the left lanes marked “Cash” to complete their transaction. Only exiting cash lanes will have a customer service representative while all other lanes will be fully automated and self-serve.
