Julie Espy of White Lights on Wednesday shows off her Italian Sausage & Caramelized Onion Pizza. It is fairly straight forward filled with the flavors you love. She was inspired by the flavors of summer, but of course we can enjoy it year round.
Now if you are into the kale craze these days, New Yorker Elizabeth Passarella from the Kitchn has the pie for you! In fact, since this was posted in 2011 she loved kale when kale wasn’t cool. Her Sausage Pizza, Topped with Crispy Kale looks like a great way to add a healthier twist to the pie you love. A little olive oil on the kale leaves, sprinkled with salt and olive oil before putting them on a baking sheet, sprinkling with salt and baking for up to 15 minutes.
