Hearts & Heels on Feb. 28 will support American Heart Assn. during Heart Health Month

hearts-37308_640The month of February is designated as National Heart Health Month. In North Texas, one organization supports the American Heart Association by inviting men and women from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to participate in the Hearts & Heels Brunch and Show on February 28, 2015 at Hilton Garden Inn – Dallas/Duncanville in Duncanville.

A portion of the proceeds from Hearts & Heels will be committed to the American Heart Association. Total You Unlimited CEO and Founder, Emily Blue, believes it is extremely important to help eradicate heart disease. “Heart disease is still the number one cause of death in both men and women. It is important for us to continue to fund lifesaving treatments and educate individuals on how they can prevent heart disease. That is why we support the American Heart Association,” says Blue.

Hearts & Heels is a brunch and show designed to increase awareness about heart disease and will be hosted by DFW Television Personality Amanda Fitzpatrick. As an award-winning journalist and community advocate, Fitzpatrick will bring a fresh and exciting flow to the event.

The event will feature a scrumptious heart healthy brunch, an inspiring story by Heart Health Speaker Monic Lowe, an encouraging and uplifting message by CEO/Founder of The Design Factory and Lead Pastor of The Harvest Church Sederrick Raphiel, a fabulous show featuring shoes from Haute Heels, designs from Stylist/Designer Kenya Mills of KMills Collection, Terry Costa, Percy Bryant III of Pray by Percy Ray and Bridgette Thompson, Anne Bridgét Designs and incredible swag bags for all attendees.

Sponsors/Partners for Hearts & Heels to date include Erica Annise – American Heart Association Volunteer Ambassador and Director of Marketing for Heart & Soul Magazine, Journey of a Young Lady, Briana Dickson Photography, Nikki G. Productions, TB Styleworks, and Perfected Magazine. This event starts with a Meet & Greet along with health screenings, a silent auction and shopping with specialty vendors at 10:00 am and a brunch and show at 11 am. Attendees are encouraged to wear red in support of National Heart Health Month.
