Saturday morning, at approximately 7:52 am, Dallas Police officers responded to a call regarding a vehicle on fire at the 2200 block of Royal Lane. The vehicle was on fire. Once the Dallas Fire Department extinguished the first, the body of a female was discovered in the back.  According to witnesses a man was seen leaving the scene of the accident, but the police were unable to find anyone of interest.
