PorkRinds.com Honors Ohio State Linebacker Payton Pierce as Crunch Time Hero of the Week

PorkRinds.com has named Ohio State linebacker Payton Pierce its Crunch Time Hero of the Week. The recognition honors his Week 7 performance against the University of Illinois.

Pierce delivered an early interception that set momentum during the Illibuck rivalry game. The play helped secure a key Buckeyes victory.

However, fans can vote Pierce for Hero of the Year through Instagram sharing.
Each share generates a one dollar donation supporting pediatric brain cancer families.
Voting runs from Oct. 16 through Oct. 30.

The campaign partners with the Archer Foundation to raise awareness and funds.
The effort highlights athletes using platforms for meaningful community impact. Finally, seven players have earned weekly honors at the season midpoint.
