Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson participated in the bipartisan 2015 Congressional Forum held by the Dallas Regional Chamber at the Westin Galleria Dallas.

During the event, Congresswoman Johnson was joined by fellow colleagues Congressman Marc Veasey (TX-33), Congressman Pete Sessions (TX-32), and Congressman Jeb Hensarling (TX-5) for an interactive luncheon to discuss important issues impacting North Texas. This year, in addition to an informal Q&A session, discussion topics included: immigration; health care; infrastructure; environmental regulations; and federal budget priorities.

“The Dallas Regional Chamber is an integral part of the business community here in Dallas,” said Congresswoman Johnson. “I am happy to participate in a discussion that serves my colleagues and our constituents regardless of political affiliation. Events such as today’s Congressional Forum are exactly the types of tools we need to start the process in facilitating long-term bipartisan efforts in Congress.”

The Dallas Regional Chamber is the area’s leading membership-driven business organization committed to promoting economic prosperity by leading economic development, driving improvements in public education, influencing public policy, and catalyzing and advocating for regional partnerships. The Chamber works to ensure the Dallas region will become the most economically prosperous region – and the most desirable place to live and work – in the United States. The Chamber is a not-for-profit organization comprised of businesses, which represent all facets of the North Texas business community.
