By Latrisha McDuffie, NDG Staff Writer

Plano police are searching for Everett Travane Haile, 30, on charges of attempted capital murder. The Houston man allegedly attempted to shoot an employee as he robbed a Family Dollar Store on K Avenue in Plano last April while dressed a lot like Madea. Fortunately, the employee managed to fight for their lives to survive the attack.

Watch video of the attempted robbery.

Anyone with information about the location of Haile (pictured above) is asked to call police at 972-941-2148 or Crime Stoppers at 877-373-8477. Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of $5000.
