The Old Irish Bed & Breakfast at Patricks’ Pastures offers vintage-style cottages in a quaint country setting, surrounded by alpacas, llamas and other animals. Also included will be a venue for small weddings, community meetings and other gatherings.
Patricks’ Pastures Alpaca Ranch, known for its award-winning alpacas and llamas, opened a bed and breakfast recently. The Old Irish Bed & Breakfast at Patricks’ Pastures, 3030 N. Trinity Road in Denton, Texas, welcomes guests Fridays through Sundays and on holidays.
Old Irish features vintage-style cottages nestled on the nearly six-acre alpaca and llama ranch. Each of the three cottages rents for $149 per night and there’s a two-night minimum.
“We want to offer those who visit Denton County a unique, fun experience,” said Jim Patrick, Patricks’ Pastures’ owner. “Guests can enjoy a bit of the country life and spend time with the alpacas and llamas, yet still be close to all the attractions the city of Denton and the surrounding communities have to offer.
Old Irish’s amenities include:

In addition, Old Irish includes The PaCa RoAd Inn, an intimate venue for small weddings, community gatherings and other festivities. The inn, which can accommodate up to 40 people indoors and more people in a large patio area for dining or cocktail parties, rents for $1,250 per five-hour event.
The property includes two areas for weddings, one of which features a gazebo next to a pond with lighted fountains, while the other is appropriate for very small weddings and is adjacent to a garden and large fountain. The property also includes four wedding arbors.
“The PaCa RoAd Inn includes beautiful patios and gardens with fountains and wood-burning fireplaces,” Patrick said. “There are few small venues in Denton County, and we want to offer one that boasts some Irish charm.”
