‘In the Spirit of Partnership’ Town Hall Forum

Dallas’ Diverse Young Professionals Come Together with Local Leaders

The Urban League of Greater Dallas Young Professionals (ULGDYP) and the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals (YP214), have partnered for the ‘In the Spirit of Partnership’ Town Hall Forum at 6:30pm, Thursday, Aug. 16 at UNT Dallas.

“Both YP214 and ULGDYP are committed to equipping Dallas’ next generation of young professionals to be leaders who empower the community,” says Matt Houston, president of ULGDYP. “Our Town Hall Forum at UNT Dallas will be a catalyst that a helps us partner for change in Dallas.”

“Educating and mobilizing the YP population of North Texas is of upmost importance to both ULGDYP and YP214,” says Chris Vaca, president of YP214. “We must start building bridges of support and partnership in an effort to promote progressive change. Together we can elevate the number of opportunities available for YP leaders in North Texas.”

The Town Hall Forum is a kick off for the ULGDYP 5th Annual Leadership Development Conference: Connect.Build.Share in September. Hundreds of Dallas’ young professionals will come together for an immersion in education, economic development and civic influence. In October, YP214 brings you ELEVATE, a premier opportunity for networking sessions and career development workshops. Dallas’ diverse young professionals goal is to Connect ideas, Build solutions and Share progress that impacts that DFW community.
