Frisco residents can attend Town Hall by phone TONIGHT

Find out what’s happening in the City of Frisco at the first Town Hall meeting of 2013 on Monday, Feb 25 at 7 p.m.  Can’t attend in person?  Residents can enjoy the convenience of Frisco’s telephone format.

Frisco residents should dial 888 – 409 – 5380 to join the Town Hall meeting. Frisco’s registered voters will also receive a phone call Monday night, inviting them to join the meeting.

Residents are always welcome to attend in person. The meeting will be held in the council chambers of City Hall at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.  Various city department representatives will staff ‘information stations’ beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium.

At 7 p.m., staff will brief residents on the proposed use of ‘roundabouts’ as well as other major road construction and improvement projects, emergency preparedness as storm season approaches, and the latest development trends impacting our community.

Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions in person or by phone. The ‘Q & A’ portion of the meeting will follow staff presentations.

For those who LOVE to attend Town Hall meetings in person, ‘I LOVE Frisco’ t-shirts will be available for attendees – but only one per person, please.  The second edition t-shirt features phrases from our own residents who responded to the call for answers to the question, ‘Why do you LOVE Frisco?’.

Town Hall meetings last approximately two hours and are typically held three times each year.
