All Fathers are invited to attend the 3rd Annual Craig L. Shaw’s Father’s Day Dinner from the Greater Southwest Black Chamber of Commerce. The event is scheduled for June 23 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn of DeSoto.
Officer Craig Lamont Shaw served in Lancaster for five years before he was killed on June 20, 2010 after responding to a local apartment complex. The police on the scene were searching for a suspect after discovering a male murder victim.
