Dallas County District Judge Carl Ginsberg signed an agreed order to dismiss the lawsuit filed in August 2012 with prejudice Monday after the two parties agreed to a settlement involving Charlotte, N.C.-based Ark Group, which has proposed a $165 million partnership to develop Irving’s long-stalled entertainment center.

As part of the dismissal, the Ark Group plans to buy the Las Colinas Group’s interest in the project. The dismissal is contingent on the execution of an agreement between the city and the Las Colinas Group, said Larry Friedman, a high-profile litigation lawyer representing the Las Colinas Group.
