“For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery;. . .” Ephesians 3:1-12.

Paul was a prisoner of Christ. He was under the order of One who is the Keeper of the key. It’s one thing to be in jail but to be in prison that’s a difference. When you’re in prison, it’s usually for a long time.

I am a prisoner of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Keeper of the key. I submit myself to His will and His ways. He has ordered my steps to do according to His will and according to His good pleasure. Glory to God.

He has honored the one thing that I have desired. He has honored my desire to seek the more of Him and granted me the sacred promise of being able to dwell in His house all the days of my life.

When you are a prisoner in the Spirit you see no more in the natural world, but you see through the Christ that lives inside of you. It’s not my will, but Thy will oh Lord.

When you are a prisoner of Christ, it’s no more I, me and mine. God turns it into His. When you are a prisoner in the Spirit, things are not done according to what you want but what God knows is best.

.How many prisoners in the natural world are able to do what they want? They are told when to wake up. They are told when to be quiet, when to eat, when to go outside and when it’s time to go to sleep.

Don’t be a prisoner in the natural world. But, a prisoner in the Spirit. Christians don’t mind being a prisoner of Christ.

Christians don’t mind Christ holding the key because we know Jesus Christ or the Keeper has nothing but good things for us. And because He is the Son of God we know His plan is the plan that is the Will of God.

We don’t have to worry. We don’t have to fret. Because Jesus is the Son of God. No good thing will He withhold from us. We know that He loves us.

Saints of God know His will is not an “ill-will” but His Father’s will. In His prison Saints are not caught up in other prisons that life has to offer. There are other kinds and types of prisons.

I’m not talking about buildings. An individual can be a prisoner of many things. He/She could be a prisoner of an abusive person. One could be a prisoner to a drug.

A person could be a prisoner of cigarettes or alcohol even when they don’t want to. A prisoner to drugs or alcohol will take drugs or drink alcohol to excess. There are even prisoners to the flesh. Prisoners to the wrong jail-keepers.

Because God is merciful. It is not His will that any should perish. Any one, yes even you and me. Thank you Jesus.

You can be free. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Christians are empowered. They are therefore free. Saints of God are anointed to stand fast.

In the midst of adversity we can stand because we are free and have liberty in Jesus. We are no more entangled with the yoke of bondage.

Christians stand fast in the freedom wherein Christ hath made us free. No more entangling ourselves in the affairs of this life; having escaped the pollutions of this world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We now have a mind to be a prisoner to the things that please the Lord. Be glad on today if you are prisoner of Christ. You have been released from being a prisoner of the world. You are no longer bound but set free.

Saints are “free prisoners.” Yeah, see, that’s how it works in God. He uses the foolish things to baffle the wise.

A wise man says, “How can you be a prisoner and be free? How are you moving about freely? Prisoner can’t move like they want to. Prisoners don’t have the freedom to live like they want to. However, the saved-in-Christ can triumphantly say, “I’m free indeed and I walk in the liberty of God.

Acts 17:28 says, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being;“ Chosen to live in Him. Free to live in Him. Free to move in Him. Be a prisoner of Christ.

Isaiah 43:10 says, “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.”
