The Lone Star Youth Orchestra has additional spots available for interested students, but spots are going quickly! Call 972-252-4800 or email education@garlandsymphony.org to schedule a rolling audition.
Members of the Lone Star Youth Orchestra present four concerts annually at the Irving Arts Center; perform alongside the Garland Symphony Orchestra and Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra; play around the metroplex in small ensembles; and compete for scholarships through our annual concerto competition. Through master classes with distinguished professors, a professional training atmosphere, and the opportunity to work with local professional musicians, 98% of our students go onto higher education.
