AARP
AARP members last week, Thursday, Oct. 4, visited Senator John Cornyn’s office in Austin to deliver more than 100,000 signatures on petitions voicing concerns about cuts to Social Security benefits and urging responsible solutions rather than shortsighted changes. Social Security annually contributes nearly $97 billion to the Texas economy and supports more than 619,000 Texas jobs.
These petitions are part of AARP’s “You’ve Earned a Say” listening initiative, which you can learn more about at www.earnedasay.org.
…if they didn’t take at least a hundred thousand dollars to him along with the signatures; they wasted their time…he’s already “bought and paid for” and the only thing that will make a difference to him is more money – unless they organize enough votes to remove him from office…the Republicans are the party of the rich; it’s that simple and they are strictly about m-o-n-e-y…and Teddy Cruz is not even worth mentioning but he’s worse…
An opinion, many others like share, what is interesting for him right now is that Cruz and the Tea Party faithful are not very happy with him either. He is in quite a pickle.
