DALLAS – Registration for the 2013 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon, 5-Person Relay and SMU Cox Corporate Relay Challenge presented by Behringer will close on Monday, Dec. 2.
“Registration is nearing capacity for the marathon and half marathon, and we expect the five-person relays will sell out in the next few days,” said Patrick Byerly, president of the Dallas Marathon. “We’ve focused our efforts to improve the participant experience in 2013, and look forward to what will be our best MetroPCS Dallas Marathon race weekend yet.”
The 44th running of the MetroPCS Dallas Marathon will be broadcast live on WFAA, Channel 8, beginning at 8 a.m. on Sunday, December 8. Proceeds from MetroPCS Dallas Marathon race weekend benefit Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, the race’s primary beneficiary since 1997.
