Movies Under the Moon: Frozen at the Shops at Park Lane

Grab a blanket and some pals and head to The Shops at Park Lane on Fridays in June to enjoy Movies Under the Moon, a free outdoor movie series featuring family-friendly movie favorites. Movies take place in the Park across from Bowl & Barrel at 8:30 PM. Admission is free; just bring your own chairs and blankets! Popcorn will be for sale for $1 per bag, and Bowl & Barrel will sell food, soft drinks, beer and wine.

There’ll be more than seasonal produce at this Saturday’s market located at 120 W. Main St.,
Grand Prairie, TX, 75208 from 8 AM – 11AM. The Heads or Tails Cajun Crawfish catering company will be boiling Louisiana mudbugs and selling them accompanied by potatoes and corn for $10 per pound. Stay and eat your mudbugs while a zydeco band plays.

Sunday is Funday at Panther Island Pavilion

After church gather the family and head down to the Trinity River at Panther Island Pavilion. It will feature tube rentals for $5, food, music, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and stand up paddle board rentals. You may bring blankets, chairs, and games but outside coolers, food or drinks are not allowed. The gates open at 1:00 pm and the event will last until 6:00 p.m. Beer from Fort Worth’s newest craft brewery, Panther Island Brewing, will also be available on site.Â
