Ferguson cop expected to be OK after suffering gunshot in the arm

gun-lawsST. LOUIS – A Ferguson, Mo., police officer was shot in the arm Saturday night after encountering two suspects at a community center who fired at him, authorities say.

Police say the shooting occurred while the officer was on routine patrol at the Ferguson Community Center.

Tim Zoll of the Ferguson Police Department said the officer was shot in the arm. The officer’s identity and condition is unknown at this time.

The suspects are still at large. No further information was immediately available.
