Dallas Deputy Sheriff does not test positive for Ebola

ebolaDeputy Sheriff Michael West Monnig received the good news that the medical tests show he does not appear to have Ebola. Deputy Monnig visited a CareNow clinic in Frisco yesterday reporting stomach pain. Given the death earlier in the day of the first patient in America with the deadly disease, those who have had contact with the patient and his family are on high alert.

Deputy Monnig was one of the first to enter the home of Thomas Eric Duncan’s fiancee last week when her family was quartantined. As a precaution, he was tested to make sure he was not infected.
