Irving ISD: No classes on Tuesday will try to have school board meeting

Irving ISD Schools released the following statement regarding plans for Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015:

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. Therefore, all Irving ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, February 24 due to icy conditions on roads, school parking lots and walkways.

High School Basketball Playoff Games Rescheduled for Wednesday, February 25

Boys Basketball:

Date: Wednesday, February 25
Location: The Colony High School
MacArthur vs. Richardson Pearce at 6:30 p.m.
Nimitz vs. Richardson at 8 p.m.

Girls Basketball:

Date: Wednesday, February 25
Location: Ellis Davis Field House in Dallas
MacArthur vs. Rockwall at 6 p.m.

School Board Meeting Scheduled for 7 p.m.

The meeting of the Irving ISD Board of Trustees (regularly scheduled for Monday, February 23) has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, February 24 at 7 p.m.
