The City of Garland invites residents to attend the 2015 Neighborhood Summit from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at The Hyatt Place, 5101 N. President George Bush Turnpike. This year’s conference aims to inspire attendees with practical and effective ways to make a difference in their respective neighborhoods.The event will encourage residents to start talking neighbor-to-neighbor and neighbor-to-City, to create a community that is full of life. Registration is $10 per person.
