“It will be Badu at her best,” said Curtis King, founder and President of TBAAL and the director of Badu’s conceived show.I’ve been putting it off for about two years and I just felt if I don’t do it, I’m just never going to do it. So I called Uncle,” said Badu.

Audiences can expect some unpredictable moments from Badu. The big question: Will you be nude? “Well, you have to come to the show and see,” Badu said. This is a show that has been two years in the making and Erykah Badu is excited to share her creation. Catch her before she’s takes the show to London and host the Soul Train Awards in November.

Regarded as the “First Lady of Neo-Soul,” and best known for her eccentric style and cerebral music, Badu’s sound — a concoction of soul, hip-hop and jazz — cannot be contained to a single genre. Watch it all on the Naomi Bruton Main Stage, Thursday, Oct 29, Friday, Oct. 30, and Saturday, Oct 31, 2015 at 8 p.m. TBAAL members can get a special price of $18.50 for Thursday’s performance. Regular ticket prices are $40 mezzanine, $45 orchestra and $100 opening night VIP reserved seating and post reception.

Tickets may be purchased through TBAAL’s Box Office 214. 743. 2400 or through Ticketmaster 800-653-8000 or Ticketmaster.com.
