Only a few tickets remain for Perot Museum’s adults-only Social Science event Friday night, October 23rd

Explore the wonders of your local community at Social Science, Friday (Oct. 23) from 7 – 11 p.m. at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. The adults-only after-hours event will feature your favorite local liquids, country western dancing, a Wolfgang Puck gastropub, intriguing activities and experiments, games on the plaza and even some Texas Hold ‘Em. Guests must be 21 years of age with valid ID.

Local breweries, wineries and farmers markets – check. Wolfgang Puck gastropub – check. Country western dancing – check. Explore the wonders of your local community at Social Science: Local on Friday (Oct. 23) from 7 – 11 p.m. at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. The adults-only after-hours event will feature your favorite local liquids, intriguing activities and experiments, games on the plaza and even some Texas Hold ‘Em. Guests must be 21 years of age with valid ID.

Get a taste of home-grown at its best in The Local Liquid Lounge with Deep Ellum Brewing Co., FireWheel Brewing Co., Lakewood Brewing Co., Bishop Cider Co. and Times Ten Cellars. Meet, mingle and muse with community groups and leaders while learning about the history of aviation, current scientific findings, local landmarks/buildings, community gardens, native parasites, biomimicry and more. Partake in creating a communal fiber art sculpture, enjoy eclectic cocktails and bites from Wolfgang Puck, explore constellations in the portable planetarium, and move and groove to the beats of DJ Bradford in the Lobby.

Also hear about the dinosaur tracks discovered in Glen Rose, and learn about weather patterns from local meteorologist Colleen Coyle.

Don’t forget to swing by the Museum Shop, open until 11 p.m., for unique gifts that fit all ages.
