Farmers Branch Parks Crews work to remove a downed tree from the playground area in Gussie Field Watterworth Park, on the banks of Rawhide Creek, near City Hall.
The tree was pushed down by apparent straight-line winds during the midday storm cell that pushed through, leaving downed trees and limbs in its wake.
Additionally, power line and traffic signal damage was reported on the far west side of Farmers Branch.
While the other minority-based publications focus on South Dallas, there is only ONE newspaper that focuses on African-Americans in North Dallas and the surrounding areas. It’s the North Dallas Gazette, a good choice when you want to reach a true representation of Dallas African-American consumers.
