Orlando nightclub shooter declared support for ISIS

President Barack Obama earlier this afternoon declared the shooting deaths of 50 in an Orlando, Florida an act of terror and hate. Reportedly up to 50 more victims have or are still be treated at local hospitals, making this the deadliest mass shooting incident in American History. This comes less than a week before the one year anniversary of the shooting a Charleston, South Carolina shooting.

CNN is reporting that alleged gunman, although not officially named, is supposedly Omar Mateen and he called 911 in the middle of the attack. During this phone call he reportedly declared his support for ISIS. The network earlier today reported that his father claimed the attack was triggered by his son seeing two men kissing publicly. The family denies knowing about their son’s plan or supporting him in any fashion.
