Early voting available at Brookhaven College Nov. 2-3

brookhavenAlready picked your candidate? Still trying to decide? No matter how you feel about your choices, make sure your voice is heard in this presidential election by exercising your right to vote.

Brookhaven College has been designated as an early voting location for Wednesday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will take place in Bldg. W, rooms W104 and W105, on the campus located at 3939 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch.

Voters must be registered to vote. The last day to register to vote in the November general election is Oct. 11. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked at least 30 days before an election to vote in that election.

Registered voters are required to present identification at the polling location. According to Dallas County, TX Elections, acceptable forms of voter ID include:

  • Texas driver license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
  • Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
  • Texas Personal identification card issued by DPS
  • Texas handgun license issued by DPS
  • United States military identification card containing the person’s photograph
  • United States citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph
  • Passport

With the exception of the U.S. citizenship certificate, the identification must be current or have expired no more than four years before being presented for voter qualification at the polling place.
