NEW YORK As the coronavirus crisis impacts our nation, SiriusXM’s Joel Osteen Radio will feature special live programming featuring Joel and Victoria Osteen, co-pastors of Lakewood Church. The replay will be available. Created as a platform to offer listeners hope, inspiration, and encouragement, Joel Osteen Radio is heard on SiriusXM channel 128 on SiriusXM radios, on the SiriusXM app, and at home on a variety of connected devices and speakers.

Today, March 23, at 4 p.m. Central Joel Osteen will host a special edition of his weekly program Joel Osteen Live featuring his brother, Dr. Paul Osteen, who is a vascular surgeon and medical missionary. Joel will also be taking calls from listeners across the nation discussing ways to stay in faith and how to help others during this time of national emergency.

“In these times of crises, this is the time for us to shine, to be a bright light, to be a voice of peace and hope for neighbors and friends. And, it’s a time for all of us to draw closer to God. We have a God that’s in control. He is fighting our battles and He’s got us in the palm of his hand. I’m glad to be able to talk to you all through SiriusXM in the days ahead, and I hope to hear from many of you out there as well.  Let’s stay connected, let’s encourage each other and help lift each other’s spirits in this time of need,” said Pastor Joel.

Osteen’s wife and co-pastor, Victoria Osteen, will also be taking phone calls from listeners across America on her weekly program, Victoria Osteen Live, Wednesdays at 12:00 pm ET, while sharing a personal message of hope and inspiration for her audience.

This weekend and in the weekends ahead, as Americans are unable to attend religious services in person, SiriusXM will air “virtual” services from Lakewood Church.  Services can be heard Saturdays at 8:00 pm ET and Sundays at 9:30 am ET, 12:00 pm ET, 3:00 pm ET (Spanish language service) and 8:00 pm ET.

Lakewood Church has also announced it is partnering with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to hold an emergency blood drive beginning in the Houston area today, March 23rd through Friday, March 27th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CT daily. The nation is facing a severe blood shortage due to a large number of blood drive cancellations during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the American Red Cross.  To address the need, mobile blood donation buses will be located on-site at Lakewood Church and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is following all heightened CDC recommendations regarding sanitization and safety to provide a clean, safe environment for donations.  By appointment only.  To sign up go to LakewoodChurch.com
