Who won the Vice President Debate?

Last night Americans saw a clash between what some refer to as facts and conviction on one side and glib lines and empty promises on the other.

While many claim that President Barack Obama allowed GOP nominee Mitt Romney go unchallenged last week, the Democrats are boasting the debate between Vice President Joe Biden and Romney’s running mate Rep. Paul Ryan showed facts and details matter.

The Democrats issued a statement indicating Thursday’s debate exposed the extreme risk Romney-Ryan economics pose for American middle-class and American leadership in the world.

Did you watch the debate, if so who do you think won? Does it matter who wins the VP debate and do you think President Obama will be more combative during the upcoming debate?

  1. I think VP Joe Biden won. I hope everyone pays attention to how the Gov. Romney has flip-flopped his position on various issues to improve his position in the polls. But be careful of him, he’s not what he says he is!

  2. I think you can make an argument on both sides, depending what your adjenda is. I greatly preferred Vice President Biden. Many have misunderstood him: those of us who have followed his career since the 1970’s understand his behavior last night had nothing to do with being rude in any way – – it was classic Joe Biden. I can see why that wouldn’t be everyone’s favorite style, but if you can leave style behind and pay attention to what they said, I can’t help but understand that the Vice President is more experienced, had many more “life-expeiences” and can, therefore, see a much bigger picture than Mr. Ryan. I think perspective in particularly important currently. Mr. Ryan’s time will come.
