Commissioner Williams and Seagoville student

DALLAS–Texas Commissioner of Education Michael L. Williams visited Seagoville Elementary School on Friday, March 8, to get a firsthand look at the Reasoning Mind math program that is used districtwide by Dallas ISD second- and third-graders.

Nonprofit Reasoning Mind’s program allows individualized math instruction via a Web-based computer application that adjusts to each student’s needs. Dallas ISD and Reasoning Mind officials were also on hand Friday to discuss the program with Williams. Seagoville Elementary was chosen because of its effective implementation of the program.

After his visit to Seagoville Elementary, Williams spoke to the Dallas Chamber.
