Caught on video: NY motorist chased, surrounded and beaten by motorcyclists in front of family

Nypd_logoIn what sounds like a plot for an intense movie was reality for a New York motorist on Sunday when he was surrounded and allegedly beaten by up to 30 motorcyclists.

“The six-minute pursuit on Sunday — which was captured on video and posted on YouTube — began when the driver of a black Range Rover called 911 to report erratic bikers taking part in an unauthorized rally dubbed Hollywood Stuntz, police told NBC New York.”

When the driver clipped a biker, who suffered a broken leg, the crowd became unruly using their helmets to bang on the Range Rover and slashing his tires. In his attempt to get away, he hit more bikes, and was surrounded again when his slashed tires went flat. The driver was pulled from the SUV and attacked.

New York Police say they are seeking up to 30 bikers as a part of their investigation. For the full story and video, visit NBCNews.
