Nearly 30 percent of your co-workers likely are late for work today

Many commuters have that sinking feeling in their stomach when they glance down at their watch while on mass transit and realize they are going to be late for work.

According to a national survey from CareerBuilder.com, nearly 30 percent of all Americans arrive late for work each day.
At the same time, the survey found that 53 percent of employers expect their employees to arrive on time and 41 percent said they have fired someone for being habitually late.
