Dr. Mensah was also an invited Plenary Speaker at the two day event, which was the 3rd US-Africa International Business Forum held by the (ALM) under the theme: “Unlocking Africa’s Non Oil Investment Potentials”. During an interview with this writer Dr. Mensah said he was very “prepared to assist African countries as they embark upon the journey to modernize and industrialize their respective economies.”
The journey to industrialize require a nation to pay attention to five key areas that Dr. Mensah thinks Africa must improve upon to move into the 21st century: “notably, electric power generation, energy sectors, air and road transportation improvement, internet expansion and boarder security these are the 5 priorities that will help improve infrastructure in order to realize an industrial boom that will create jobs for Africa.”
Dr. Thomas Mensah thanked the ALM for organizing the International Business Leadership Awards by saying “it is such a great honor to have them recognize my work and that of others who are working tirelessly to solve problems in Africa”.
ALM is a publication of the African Leadership Limited in the United Kingdom (UK) that focuses on bringing the best of Africa to a global audience by telling the African story from a truly African perspective. “I think Dr. Ken Giami; Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of the ALM and his team did a great job too at the 6th African Business Leadership Forum and Awards in July 2015 at the Hilton London Metropole in UK. Their call on African Business leaders to commit more to taking care of their host communities and society in general is one that resonates well with me” DFr. Mensah disclosed.
African Leadership Magazine reaches an audience of international business and governmental leaders concerned with Africa’s many under-reported success stories. Dr. Mensah said he is excited to be a part of the distinguished IBL award winners, of which her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf; President of Liberia, and the Crown Prince of Dubai;Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum are among the first recipients.
