NTTA hosting Vendor Outreach Symposium on Nov. 29

nttaThe North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) will hold a Vendor Outreach Symposium (VOS) Tuesday, Nov. 29 at NTTA’s Collin County headquarters as an outreach to engage and educate disadvantaged, minority, woman-owned and small businesses on the process of doing business with NTTA.

The symposium will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in NTTA’s Boardroom, located at 5900 W. Plano Parkway in Plano.

This event will be the 30th VOS hosted by NTTA’s Business Diversity Department and the seventh VOS held in Collin County. (VOS events rotate between Collin, Denton, Tarrant and Dallas counties each quarter.)

The VOS provides an opportunity for peer-to-peer networking, and attendees will be provided information about upcoming contract opportunities and how to do business with NTTA. Representatives from the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency also will provide information about how to become DBE-or M/WBE-certified.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet staff from NTTA’s project delivery, information technology, maintenance, diversity and purchasing departments. The event will include a question-and-answer session.

For those with questions about NTTA’s vendor outreach program, call 972-447-3333, or e-mail VendorOutreach@ntta.org.
