TI goes back to jail?

According to a report released earlier this week on a celebrity gossip site (not disclosed cause we don’t want to hate on them for giving wrong information) rapper T.I. was scheduled to return to prison to complete his sentence after he was released from prison to a halfway house in December 2009.

T.I., Clifton Harris, 29, only served seven months of his one year sentence for parole violation after he was caught buying a boat load of guns.  First, of all we all know he is a convicted felon because at one point he frequented the jailhouses in Atlanta for drug chargers.  Second, he served some of his jail time, according to his lawyer, when he was on house arrest for more than a year and when he did some community service prior to going into the slammer.  Third, we want to know why are all skinny rappers enticed to go to jail, T.I., Tupac (rest his soul, wait we really don’t know if he is dead), Lil’ Wayne, Lil’ Bootsie, the list is endless.  What is the deal?

Anyway, T.I. camp released a statement that the rapper is going to be releasing a new album in the summer, slated for August 24 and we are sure it is going to be one for the record books.  If T.I. does go back to jail we are sure we will have something else to report on…maybe we should start a Criminal section on the Entertainment page?
