June 21 Black History Fact – Henry Ossawa Tanner

Henry Ossawa Tanner was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 21, 1859. Although his most noteable painting was The Banjo Lesson from 1893, I like The Thankful Poor. Tanner died May 25, 1937
