This workshop will inform attendees on how to be successful in doing business with state agencies and universities. It is important to understand the state’s procurement process.

The second half of this event will provide vendors with:

  • Marketing tips and resources to assist you in doing business with the state government, and
  • Common mistakes to avoid.

The workshop is on Oct. 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. with hands-on assistance with the certification process. Then at 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., the session of Doing Business with the State Procurement Cycle will take place.

The location is at the Collin College, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. For more information, visit www.ccblackchamber.org or contact Terri Thomas at Terri.Thomas.ccblackchamber@gmail.com.
