4 Basketball Wives: L.A leaving the show

By Kendria Brown, NDG Intern

Rumor has it Gloria Govan, Laura Govan, Malaysia Pargo, and Brooke Bailey have all been canceled from VH1’s Basketball Wives LA because of not allowing the show to be inclusive of their life events. The girls did not allow taping from VH1’s show in their personal lives, which is a no no since that is what the show is all about.

Especially when Gloria Govan went off to Vegas to get hitched with L.A. Clippers star Matt Barnes which the show knew nothing about. Gloria decided that it was not any of the show’s business, and producers of the show felt violated or disrespected to say the least, which led them to clean house on the girls.

This is a show where your privacy is the driving force behind the production and omitting such could apparently cost you your job. The four women have not officially been told they are leaving the show, but replacements are underway.

There are six cast members in all, including on screen rivals Draya Michele and Jackie Christie, who are supposed to be the only two remaining. Some tweeters have already expressed their disgrace with some of its members.

What do you think about the show now and its four members leaving or the two remaining? Comment on www.facebook.com/northdallasgazette.
