DALLAS, TEXAS – Reverend Bryan L. Carter, senior pastor of Concord Church, and Concord members are excited to announce Dedication and Inaugural Worship Services as they unveil their new state-of-the-art worship center. Dedication Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11am and Inaugural Worship Services will be held on Sunday, March 17 at 7:30 a.m., 9:15 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. The church is located at 6808 Pastor Bailey Drive, Dallas, Texas 75237.
The comprehensive church campus is designed to effectively minister to the needs of the entire family. The newly constructed worship center will be known as the Faith Building, which is directly adjacent to the current facility which will be called the Legacy Building. A newly constructed 80 foot cross bearing the signatures and personal messages by Concord members stands in front of the two buildings.
The Faith Building includes a 3,500 seat sanctuary featuring a state-of-the-art media center, new adult classrooms, new meeting rooms and an outdoor Prayer Garden. The building also features a unique sacred and intimate Baptismal Room with private seating for family viewing, as well as audio-visual viewing throughout the sanctuary.
The Legacy Building will focus on children, youth and senior adults. Concord will celebrate a new youth worship center, new children’s worship center, and senior adult meeting and activity rooms.
Pastor Carter welcomes and encourages the entire community to join in for the Dedication Services on Saturday and the Inaugural Worship Services on Sunday. “We believe that the new campus and facilities will allow Concord to better serve our community and help people experience God in great ways,” stated Pastor Carter. “We grow people–Going In to Go Out.”
The Dedication Service will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Concord members and the community into the new worship home. Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, senior pastor of Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California, will be the keynote speaker. National, state and local special guests and elected officials will be in attendance. Seating will begin at 10am with tours of the facility offered immediately following the service.
The Inaugural Sunday Worship Services will feature keynote speaker Dr. Ralph West, senior pastor of The Church Without Walls in Houston, Texas at all four services. The services will feature the church’s mass choir, United Voices of Concord led by Minister of Music Gaye Arbuckle along with performances by the Concord dance ministries.
