School supply giveaway in Irving until 2 p.m. today

School_SuppliesToday at Irving High School, several community sponsors and volunteers will distribute approximately 3,500 backpacks stuffed with school supplies for kids in need. Over 40 vendors will be on site also and students can receive a dental and vision screening. Irving High School is located at 900 N. O’Connor. The event ends at 2 p.m. Major sponsors include The Y, City of Irving, Irving Fire Department and Chase Bank.
