Neighbors to gather with DART Police for National Night Out

imagesDART Police will hold their third annual National Night Out, Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m., at DART Police Headquarters, 2111 S. Corinth St. in Dallas across from Illinois Station on the Blue Line.

The free festivity for residents coincides with National Night Out’s 30th Anniversary and will include DART Police, Radio Disney, Dallas Fire & Rescue and various displays. Participants will be treated to lots if activities for kids, food, giveaways, face painting, games for adults, a fire department firehouse and a chance to meet Digger the DART dog.

National Night Out is an opportunity for DART Police to interact with residents in a positive, relaxed and informal way while discussing crime, drug and violence prevention programs. The event hopes to encourage stronger relationships between neighbors and DART Police.
